Description: Susans collection is an assortment of the best contemporary and antique art and craft collected from around Nepal. Scouting rare artifacts from antique bazaars in rural areas is a passion Susan Sakya inherited from her father Karna Sakya, founder of the KGH group of hotel. Susan's Collection is housed in the magnificent Gallery Room at the Kathmandu Guest House which was once the grand ballroom when the building was a Rana home. Original antique chandeliers still decorate the ceiling adding an old world charm to this immensely beautiful setting for some of the finest examples of antique and contemporary craftsmanship on display in Nepal.
